HOW IT
WORKS

trade crypto for cash, face to face. no middlemen, no accounts. a map, a chat, a handshake.

01

find an offer

Open the map. Every dot is someone offering to buy or sell crypto for cash near that location. Green dots are selling, orange dots are buying.

Click any dot to see the details: what crypto, what fiat, the price, trade limits, and accepted payment methods. Offers update with live market prices so you always see the current rate.

02

connect your wallet

Tap Login, connect any wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rabby, or anything that supports WalletConnect). Your wallet address is your account. No email, no password.

You can browse the map without connecting. You only need a wallet when you want to message someone or post your own offer.

03

check the offer

Click an offer on the map to see everything: price with live market rate, location on a mini-map, accepted payment methods, and the seller's trust score.

The price moves with the market in real time. Sellers set a percentage above or below the market rate, and peerz calculates the actual number using a live price feed from Kraken.

04

trust scores

Every user has a trust score on their profile. It shows how likely they are to be a real person, not a bot or scammer.

The score is based on two things: your wallet's on-chain history (transactions, age, activity) and accounts you verify like GitHub, Discord, or Twitter. No personal info, no ID. The score is public on every profile so you can judge for yourself before trading.

05

message them

Hit the chat button on any offer. Messages are encrypted end-to-end between your wallet and theirs using Push Protocol. Nobody else can read them, including peerz.

Agree on the exact amount, the meeting spot, and the payment method. You can send images and files too. What's even better? all of the messages are E2E encrypted. No one can read them except you and the other person, not even peerz.

06

meet and trade

Show up, exchange cash for crypto. The sender opens their wallet and transfers the agreed amount. Wait for the transaction to confirm on-chain, then you are done.

Pick a public place (a cafe, a mall, a train station). Count the cash. Wait for at least one network confirmation before walking away. The whole thing takes a few minutes.

07

no safety net

There is no escrow, no dispute system, no refunds, and no customer support. This is a direct trade between two people.

This is intentional. Adding a middleman means someone else controls your funds. Instead, peerz gives you trust scores, encrypted chat, and live pricing. The rest is your judgment. Meet in public, count your cash, wait for confirmations.

that is it

peerz is built and paid for by one person.
